This is an original oil painting of Audrey Hepburn. I must admit that “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” makes a tear roll down my cheek, every time. Quick test: Which words come to mind when thinking of Audrey? Fashion, quality, humanitarian, charming, innocent, frail, slender, wistful, romantic, giving, sophisticated… The list can be endless. As a girl, her life was deeply affected by WWII, but soon after, she was bright enough to take advantage of every opportunity that came up. No wonder, she still is one of the very few entertainers honored with the Academy, Emmy and Grammy awards. To quote her “I’ve been lucky. Opportunities don’t often come along. So, when they do, you have to grab them.” And that’s what her smile is all about.
This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on gallery wrapped, linen canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimize the color pigment, accentuate brush strokes and ensure the painting will last a lifetime. The painting has been signed and is ready to hang. If you wish to reduce the cost and have it delivered in a roll, please request it in a private message.
